The Solira Take
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. 10 ml vial - for larger-volume laboratory reconstitution of lyophilized research peptides.
COA / Testing
Every batch of product sold by Solira undergoes independent third-party analytical testing to verify identity and purity, performed by Chromate.
- HPLC purity analysis — confirms compound purity
- Mass spectrometry — identity confirmation via molecular weight verification
- Lot-specific documentation — each COA corresponds to the specific manufacturing lot

Description
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative — the standard solvent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, so a reconstituted vial stays usable across repeated draws over its window.
The 10 ml vial is the larger-volume option, aimed at labs that reconstitute several peptides or reconstitute frequently. One 10 ml vial covers roughly three to five single-peptide reconstitutions (at 2–3 ml each), so it is the more economical, lower-handling choice when you go through bacteriostatic water regularly — versus buying multiple 3 ml vials. It also suits larger-fill compounds such as NAD+ that use more water per vial.
Add the bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial and let the powder dissolve without agitation. Our reconstitution calculators give the exact mg/ml for any water volume. Store reconstituted solutions refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
